NEBE calls upon parties to file their complaints regarding VR issues by tomorrow

Addis Ababa, May 24, 2021 (FBC) – National Electoral Board of Ethiopia has called upon political parties to file complaints regarding the already completed voter registration (VR) for upcoming elections.

After the completion of voter registration, voter registration records have been displayed for political parties, observers, and other stakeholders for 10 days, and this process ends today.

Since the time the Board made the voter registration records public, the Board has been working with parties to investigate and resolve grievances.

“Now that the making of voter registration records public is over, we ask the parties to submit their complaints to the Board, including the polling stations and the polling station, by 5:30pm tomorrow” the board said in a statement.

The Board further has pledged commitment to make a big effort to investigate and resolve grievances.
