Addis Ababa, September 13, 2024 (FBC) – Ethiopia’s National ID Program has hosted a high-level webinar panel discussion on “Transformation of Governance through Digitization”, marking the 2024 International ID Day.
In commemoration of International ID Day, Ethiopia hosted this virtual (webinar) panel discussion on Friday 13th September which was attended by digital identity development officials and experts from local and international institutions.
This panel discussion will be moderated by Executive Director of National ID Program, Yodahe Zemichael, featuring the invited guests,
Ethiopia’s Minister of Innovation and Technology, Belete Molla, Joseph J. Attick, Executive Chairman at ID4Africa, Julia Clark, Senior Economist with the World Bank’s Identification for Development (ID4D) Initiative, Joseph N. Biribonwa, chairperson of the governing board of the National Identification and Registration Authority (NIRA) of Uganda, and Jotework Ayele, Senior Advisor at the National Bank of Ethiopia, participated in the panel discussion.
