Addis Ababa, March 11, 2021 (FBC) – The government of Ethiopia has unveiled a five year Lowland Livelihood Resilience Project (LLRP) with 2.2 Billion Birr in Afar Regional State.
The launch of the project held in Semera town in the presence of senior government officials and representatives various stakeholders.
Afar Regional State Low Land Resilience Project Coordinator, Deresa Ali said the five year project will be implemented in 250 localities of 20 Woredas in the region calling the community stakeholders to contribute their share for successfulness of the initiative.
State Minister of Ministry of Peace, Kaidaki Gezahegn, to his part said the government has been undertaking various community based activities to transform livelihoods of pastoralists across the nation.
