Addis Ababa, May 4, 2023 (FBC) – Ergogie Tesfaye, Minister of Women and Social Affairs, met and discussed with Country Director of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS).
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the progress of the Response-Recovery-Resilience for Conflict-Affected Communities in Ethiopia (3R-4-CACE) Project being implemented by UNOPS on behalf of the Government in Tigray.
During the meeting, the two discussed the achievements to date and how their collaboration could be expanded.
Ergogie expressed appreciation for the efforts made so far, stating that the project was critical to addressing multiple needs of GBV survivors.
The UNOPS Country Director, on her part, thanked the Minister for her strong support for the project and reaffirmed UNOPS’ commitment to working closely with the Ministry on this and other initiatives.
