Addis Ababa, November 1, 2022 (FBC) – The Ethiopian Ministry of Irrigation and Lowlands (MoIL) signed a memorandum of understanding with Power for All on the technical assistance and capacity building project.
The agreement was signed by the Minister of MoIL, Aisha Mohammed, and the founder and CEO of Power for All, Kristina Skierka.
A three-year technical assistance and capacity building project launch ceremony was held for the new Power for All project.
Minister Aisha said, at the signing ceremony, the agreement is integral to build the capacity of the sector and increase irrigation agriculture.
She said that the irrigation infrastructures will be built with contemporary quality and high standards.
Kristina Skierka, on her part, said that the agreement will transform irrigation development projects that use diesel water pumps to use renewable energy sources.
