Addis Ababa, May 11, 2020 (FBC) – Ethiopian Shipping and Logistics Service Enterprise stated that Modjo Dry Port and Terminal, country’s key import – export hub started screening and testing COVID 19.
The dry port has given due attention for COVID 19 test on the spot as it is the main import – export hub of the country accommodating a large number of cross-border heavy truck drivers, importers, exporters and employees each day, the enterprise stated.
The dry port is performing its loading and unloading operations with maximum care to prevent spread of coronavirus for its customers such as cross – border drivers are more vulnerable to the case.
The first samples have been taken from employees of the port, drivers and other customers in partnership with Oromia Health Bureau, it is indicated.
