Addis Ababa, May 11, 2020 (FBC) –Minister of Women, Children and Youth, Filsen Abdulahi has received Mohamed Salem Al Rashedi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Ethiopia.
The discussion held today focused on ways to address the economic impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic on women, according to a Facebook post by the Ministry of Women, Children and Youth (MoWCY).
Last week, the UAE embassy in partnership with MoWCY, organized Iftar meal and distributed food items to low- income households here in Addis Ababa.
The ambassador finally pledged to work with and provide assistance to the ministry.
