Addis Ababa, July 18, 2021 (FBC) – Ministry of Health has received 453,600 doses of COVID 19 vaccine donated by the U.S.
The “Jonson and Jonson” Coronavirus vaccine that the ministry has received today is part of the 1.2 Million doses the U.S has so far promised to donate to Ethiopia.
The Health Minister Dr. Lia Tadesse and the U.S. Ambassador to Ethiopia Geeta Pasi together with other high level government officials have attended the reception event at Bole International Airport.
The U.S. is expected to dispatch 25 Million doses of Coronavirus vaccine to 49 African countries during the next weeks.
