Ministers of several African countries arrive in Addis Ababa for continental peace conference

Addis Ababa, November 25, 2024 (FBC) – A delegation of ministerial officials from various African countries has arrived in Addis Ababa to participate in the Continental Peace Conference, which gets underway today.

Led by South Africa’s Defense Minister, Matsie Angelina Motshekga, the delegation touched down at Bole International Airport, where they were warmly welcomed by Keiredin Tezera, State Minister of Peace.

The African ministers’ group is not limited to South Africa, as representatives from Rwanda, Burundi, Liberia, and South Sudan have also arrived in Addis Ababa to take part in the conference.

The event is expected to be a significant gathering of African leaders focused on promoting peace and stability across the continent.
