Addis Ababa, November 5, 2024 (FBC) – Ethiopia’s State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Misganu Arga, today met with a delegation from the African Chamber of Commerce in China at his office to discuss the strengthening of Ethio-China investment relations.
Ambassador Misganu highlighted the robust partnership between Ethiopia and China, noting the active participation of Chinese investors in Ethiopia across various sectors.
The State Minister emphasized Ethiopia’s strategic advantage in Africa and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to creating more opportunities for business connections.
Dr. Djon Jilles, head of the delegation from the African Chamber of Commerce in China, acknowledged Ethiopia as an investment-friendly country with ample opportunities. He emphasized the need for bolstering investment ties and collaboration.
Delegation members expressed their appreciation for Ethiopia’s support and policies benefiting Chinese investors and stated their intention to work closely with Ethiopian private and government stakeholders to further these investment initiatives, as per the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia.
