Addis Ababa, September 6, 2024 (FBC) – Ethiopia’s State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Mesganu Arga, had separate discussions at his office today with ambassadors of India and Türkiye.
Durning his discussion with Ambassador Anil Kumar Rai of India, State Minister Mesganu reiterated Ethiopia’s commitments to strengthening its ties with India, especially in the economic sector.
Ambassdor Anil Kumar Rai, on his part, expressed his belief that Ethiopia’s economic and financial reforms would provide even greater opportunities to Indian companies to invest in Ethiopia.
The two sides also noted the importance of scaling up bilateral relations with various engagements.
Further more State Minister Ambassador Mesganu Arga had a meeting today with the Republic of Türkiye Ambassador to Ethiopia, Ambassador Berk Baran.
The two sides discussed regional and multilateral issues of shared concern, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia.
They stressed the importance of further strengthening relations across a range of sectors, particularly trade and investment.
