Addis Ababa, October 2, 2021 (FBC) – Mayor of Addis Ababa City, Adanech Abiebie announced that the Hora Finfinnee Irrecha festival has concluded peacefully.
The mayor praised security forces, participants of the festival and others who contributed to the successful conclusion of the festival.
Residents of Addis Ababa have participated in cleaning and beautifying the city and facilitating all the necessary logistics for the celebration, Adanech said, adding that the festival concluded in a way that manifested the spirit of brotherhood and unity among communities.
Nations and Nationalities from ethnic Gamo, Alaba, Sidama and other identities have taken part in the celebration.
She further asked the community to contribute its share for successful conclusion of the Hora Arsedi Irrecha festival to be celebrated in Bishoftu town, Oromia tomorrow.
