Addis Ababa, November 9, 2021 (FBC) – The Minister of Ministry of Labor and Skills, Muferihat Kamil discussed with the World Bank Country Director, Ousman Dione on various issues.
During their Courtesy meeting they discussed on Ethiopia’s Labor and Skill Development Strategy and key priorities areas for the sector.
Muferihat briefed the country director on the activities Ethiopia has been undertaking to capacitate over 1,600 technical and vocational education and training institutes and enhance the technology transfer, agriculture and tourism sectors accordingly.
They explored solutions to the bottlenecks in the labor and skills environment and south possible solutions to address the problems.
Ousman Dione, for his part, reiterated commitment of the World Bank to supports Ethiopia’s endeavors in the technical and vocational education and training and job creation sectors.
