Addis Ababa, February 23, 2021 (FBC) – Ethiopian Ambassador to Kenya, Meles Alem said that Kenyan Chamber of Commerce has shown interest to tap investment opportunities in Ethiopia.
Vice President of Kenyan Chamber of Commerce, Dr. Erik Rutto said Ethiopia is not only best neighbor for Kenya but also a chosen market destination for his country.
Foreign Trade and Tourism Director at Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Regassa Kefale in a virtual meeting briefed representatives of Kenyan Chamber of Commerce on the growing investment opportunities in Ethiopia.
Ethiopian Ambassador to Kenya, Meles Alem, to his part said the webinar that Ethiopia and Kenya need to transform their relationship in the political sphere in to economic partnership.
He added that there are more than a hundred Kenyan investors in Ethiopia who engaged in various businesses.
Officials of Investment Commissions and Chambers of Commerce of the two countries have participated in the webinar.
