Addis Ababa, September 6, 2023 (FBC) – The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) reaffirmed its continued support to the reform activities being implemented by the Industrial Parks Development Corporation (IPDC).
The commitment was disclosed during a meeting between the CEO of IPDC, Aklilu Taddese, and the representatives of JICA on continued cooperation on issues of mutual interest.
During the discussion, the JICA delegates were briefed on the reform activities being implemented by the Industrial Parks Development Corporation of Ethiopia. Following the discussion, the JICA representatives expressed their agency’s commitment to support the reform works being carried out by the Corporation.
It is learned that IPDC and JICA have been working in cooperation in the past on development of industrial parks, research, environmental protection, and development among other areas.
It is also noted that both dignitaries have reached a mutual understanding to strengthen their existing cooperation in various areas in the future.
