Addis Ababa, December 5, 2022 (FBC) – Japanese companies stated that they are weighing in on Ethiopia as their investment destination, according to the Ethiopian Embassy in Japan.
The Embassy hosted investment seminar a couple of days ago.
During the seminar, the Ethiopian Ambassador to Japan, Tefera Derbew, briefed the attendees on Ethiopia’s investment opportunities, laws, incentives, priorities, and infrastructure.
Ambassador Tefera, during his remarks at the event, noted that Ethiopia and Japan enjoyed a long-established diplomatic relations between them.
He called on Japanese companies to invest in Ethiopia with variety of inviting opportunities.
Representatives from 13 different companies engaged in energy, construction, agro-processing, and ICT attended the seminar, the Embassy confirmed.
The Japanese companies’ representatives appreciated the valuable information provided on investment options in Ethiopia by the Ambassador.
The attendees indicated that they opted to consider Ethiopia as their potential investment destination.
