Addis Ababa, July 28, 2022 (FBC) – The Minister of Labor and Skills, Muferihat Kamil discussed with Israeli Ambassador to Ethiopia, Aleligne Admasu on how to foster partnership between their respective countries in areas of job creation and skills development.
On the occasion, Muferihat appreciated Israel’s success in trade, investment, job creation, technology and innovation, among others, expressing Ethiopia’s desire to take lessons from these achievements so as to speed up socio-economic transformation of the country.
Ambassador Aleligne, for his part, affirmed commitment of Israel to share its experiences skill development, promotion of the private sector and creation of enabling atmosphere to technology and job creation, among others, to Ethiopia to help the country achieve its goals in reduction of unemployment.
Israel is also ready to support Ethiopia in improving culture of hard works, promoting labor safety and building capacity of the work force, Ambassador Aleligne added.
