Addis Ababa, July 17, 2024 (FBC) – Ethiopia’s Minister of Agriculture Girma Amente had a discussion today with the Ambassador of Iran to Ethiopia, Ali Akbar Rezaei.
In their discussion, the minister and the ambassador advised on agricultural investment and exchange of experience in new technologies.
On the occasion, Minister Amente appreciated the commitment of the Iranian government to work with Ethiopia in the field of agriculture.
He also stated that Ethiopia is interested in exchanging knowledge with Iran on agricultural technology.
Highlighting Ethiopia’s favorable environment for investment and incentives for foreign investors, Mr. Girma asserted that Iranian investors can benefit greatly in the agricultural sector in Ethiopia.
For his part, Ambassador Ali Akbar Rezaei pointed out that the government of Iran is interested in exchanging experience and cooperating with Ethiopia in the field of agriculture.
