Addis Ababa, May 9, 2023 (FBC) –Industrial Parks Development Cooperation (IPDC) has announced that AGY, a company that produces iodized salt will enter Samara Industrial Park for production.
The company will begin operation by taking over 2000 square meters of serviced land and building its own processing plant with registered investment capital of more than 250 million birr.
When the company starts operation on a full capacity, it will create job opportunities for more than 350 citizens, IPDC has said.
It is stated that currently, IPDC is hosting investors who are interested in investing in Semera Industrial Park, especially in powder milk production and related agro-processing sectors, and they are also completing their pre-investment activities.
Semera Industrial Park was built on 2 thousand hectares of land in Semera city of Afar region, and it is a huge investment center which is close to the port of Djibouti with eight production sheds.
