Addis Ababa, April 23, 2020 (FBC) – Members of the Inquiry Board of the State of Emergency is currently visiting coronavirus (COVID-19) quarantine centres.
Ethiopia has implemented a 14-day mandatory quarantine period for all travellers to the country to control the spread of the virus.
During the visit, members of the board will monitor the handling of people in the quarantine centres.
Ethiopia has so far reported 116 confirmed cases of coronavirus, with three deaths and 21 recoveries.
According to the latest data from Johns Hopkins University, more than to 2.6 million cases of coronavirus have been registered globally.
More than 184,000 people have died and more than 723,000 have recovered from the virus.
