Addis Ababa, June 7, 2024 (FBC) – The International Labour Conference (ILC 2024) elected Ethiopia as a Deputy Member of the Governing Body for the term 2024 to 2027.
The election took place during the ongoing 112th session of the International Labour Conference held today on 07 June 2024 in Geneva, Switzerland.
The conference elected 18 regular members and 28 deputy members to the Governing Body, with 13 seats designated for African countries, according to the Ethiopian Permanent Mission to the UN in Geneva.
