Greek investors show interest to invest in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, June 15, 2023 (FBC) – Ethiopian Investment Commission (EIC) has held a virtual conference organized in cooperation with the Embassy of Ethiopia in Rome and the Hellenic-African Chamber of Commerce and Development and presented investment opportunities for Greej business enterprises.

EIC’s Deputy Commissioner, Daniel Teressa has delivered his remarks on the importance of strengthening the bilateral relations and investment ties between the two countries. He has also made a brief presentation on the country’s investment opportunities and incentive packages.

President of the Hellenic-African Chamber of Commerce and Development, Dr Sotiris Mousouris spoke on the business relations that the two counties should join hands to bridge up for mutual benefit and encouraged Greek entrepreneurs to explore market opportunities in Ethiopia.

The Investors from Greece have also shown their interest in considering Ethiopia as a get way to expand to Africa. The conference has attended by more than 30 company representatives.

Greek Exporters Association and the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry and EUBFE have also joined the business meeting.
