Addis Ababa, August 30, 2024 (FBC) – The government has set a new standard in urban infrastructure development, with a shifting work culture that delivers fast, tangible results—now being emulated in cities across Ethiopia, according to the Office of the Prime Minister.
In a flashback to the urban development works undertaken across the country, the PMO recalled the activities undertaken to redevelop the renowned Meskel Square at the heart of the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa. Some 5,000 workers have participated in the rebuilding of Meskel Square, per PMO.
“Looking back, it’s incredible to see how far we’ve come in transforming Addis Ababa into a modern, vibrant city. Projects like Meskel Square, once just a vision, have become a reality, reshaping not only the look and feel of our city but also the way we work,” a social media post from the PM Office reads.
