Addis Ababa, November 20, 2021 (FBC) – The Government of Ethiopia has warned three international schools in Addis Ababa over unwarranted discontinuation of classes based on disinformation and misinformation being distributed by the terrorist TPLF group.
Terrorist TPLF has continued its false propaganda and disinformation against Ethiopia using some international media as part of its perpetration to dismantle the nation . TPLF targeted schools in its ongoing propaganda and disinformation and forced them to discontinue learning-teaching process.
The closure of the schools has been detected monitoring activities conducted by Ministry of Education and complaints raised by parents.
Following the measures by the government to resume the teaching process in these schools, the institutions have now restarted classes, she added.
In a press briefing on Saturday, State Minister of the Government Communication Service Selamawit Kassa said 7 community schools and 19 international schools have stopped classes without any considerable reason.
Out of the total institutions found illegal, three institutions namely Sandford International School, International Community Schools and Bingham Academy have received official letters of warning.
In related story, she announced intensification of efforts in the health sector, adding that the government is working hard to get more people vaccinated against the coronavirus.
Government is working to vaccinate close to 20 Million people against the virus, according to the State Miniser.
On the other hand, Selamawit added that many citizens have got their personal weapons registered in an immediate response to the call from the government.
Selamawit said people who have communication equipment including drones, communication radios, compasses, binoculars and others are required to register them.
