G2G, interparty relations between Ethiopia, Russia will continue to grow – Prosperity Party Vice President

Addis Ababa, June 16, 2024 (FBC) – The Vice President of the Prosperity Party at the rank of Deputy Prime Minister, Adem Farah, noted that the Government – to – Government (G2G) and interparty relations will continue to grow.

The High-Level Ethiopian Delegation led by Vice President of the Prosperity Party at the rank of Deputy Prime Minister, Adem Farah is participating in the BRICS and Partner Countries International Inter-Party Forum taking place in Vladivostok, Russia under the theme “World Majority for a Multipolar World.”

Adem Farah discussed with Andrey Klimov, Undersecretary of the General Council of the United Russia Party, on ways of strengthening bilateral relation between Ethiopia and Russia in various areas of cooperation.

Adem mentioned that Ethiopia and Russia have been enjoying strong historical relationship expressing gratitude for Russia for its support and friendship to Ethiopia during its trying times.

Adem, who highlighted Ethiopia’s membership of the BRICS as a milestone in its diplomacy, also thanked the United Russia party and the Government of the Russian Federation for their support to Ethiopia in its efforts to join the BRICS.

He reiterated Ethiopia’s commitment to enhance G2G and inter party cooperation with the Russian Federation.

“Ethiopia has been registering rapid economic growth”, Adem noted, calling Russian investors to invest in the county.

He invited officials of the United Russia party and Russian investors to visit Ethiopia.

Andrey Klimov, for his part, affirmed United Russia’s commitment to strengthen interparty cooperation with Prosperity Party.

Saying that Ethiopia and Russia have all-weather long and historical relationship, Andrey Klimov, reiterated commitment to take the ties between the two countries to the next level.
