Addis Ababa, August 2, 2024 (FBC) – Ethiopian Foreign Minister Taye Atskeslassie welcomed Tom Perriello, the US Special Envoy to Sudan, at his office today.
The meeting between the two sides focused on regional issues in the Horn of Africa, with particular emphasis on the ongoing situation in Sudan.
Minister Taye provided an overview of the initiatives being undertaken by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) aimed at fostering enduring peace in Sudan.
Both parties committed to collaborating on efforts to achieve lasting peace and stability in Sudan.
