Addis Ababa, August 6, 2024 (FBC) – First Lady Zinash Tayachew has inaugurated a bakery and flour factory built in Dessie city, Amhara region, by her office earlier today.
During the ceremony, she was joined by Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Temesgen Truneh, Chief Administrator of Amhara region, Mr. Arega Kebede, Mayor of Dessie city, Mr. Samuel Molalign, and representatives of the local community.
According to the Office of the First Lady, the bakery and flour factory has the capacity to produce 300,000 loaves of bread and 420 quintals of flour per day.
It was also stated that the bread and flour factory is one of the projects being implemented by the First Lady’s office as a basis to realize sustainable development in the country.
After inaugurating the factory, First Lady Zinash and other senior officials have planted tree seedlings in Dessie city.
