Addis Ababa, October 29, 2022 (FBC) – The first-ever African Prospective Leaders’ Summit organized by Ethiopia has kicked off at the African Union Conference Center in Addis Ababa.
Youth leaders from more than 50 countries are participating in this three-day summit. The summit aims to introduce the concept and philosophy of Pan-Africanism to the new generation of Africa and strengthen solidarity.
It also aims to show the youth that Africa’s role as a continent in the international political system will be strengthened and to develop mutual ties.
Former Ethiopian leaders are expected to share their experiences at the fora.
According to the Mayor Office of Addis Ababa, all Ethiopian Ministers are said to be guests of honor at the Summit.
It is said that various research and research articles focusing on African cooperation and fraternity are set to be presented and discussed.
In addition to the youths, late African heroes’ families who fought for the unity and solidarity of the continent are also attending the event, and those heroes will be honored with awards by the FDRE Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, according the Mayor’s office.
