Addis Ababa, February 17, 2023 (FBC) – Federal Housing Corporation of Ethiopia has signed a memorandum of understanding with the famous Turkish company, DEC Group.
The MoU was signed by the Chief Executive Officer of Federal Housing Corporation, Mr. Reshad Kemal and the Deputy Chairperson of the Board of DEC Group, Atyy Habil Yazije.
It is said that the agreement will have its own impact to buttress the relationship between Turkey and Ethiopia. It will also benefit the Federal Housing Corporation through technology and expertise transfer.
It is also said that the agreement will enable the corporation to receive support through capacity building and other supports that can boost the housing development sector.
The CEO of the corporation, Reshad Kemal, said that the agreement between the two sides will have its own impact on the historical friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
The CEO affirmed the corporation’s readiness to work in cooperation and expressed his gratitude to the DEC Group and members for their commitment and desire to work in cooperation with the corporation.
Atyy Habil Yazige, on his part, indicated that they have plans to carry out other works in Ethiopia. He indicated that they will work together with the Federal Housing Corporation to support the housing development sector in Ethiopia.
He added that the Group will provide viable and cost-effective technologies to make the housing development sector more effective.
