Fana Media Corporation Launches Inaugural event with Senior Government Officials in Attendance

Addis Ababa, December 5, 2024 (FBC) – Fana Media Corporation (FMC) has officially launched its inaugural program at the Eliana Hotel, bringing together prominent government officials, leaders from the media sector, and the organization’s staff.

Key attendees included Adam Farah, Vice President of the Prosperity Party and Head of the Democracy Building Coordination Center, who holds the rank of Deputy Prime Minister; Legese Tulu (PhD), Minister of Government Communication Service; Selamwit Kassa, Minister of Tourism; and Social Affairs Advisor to the Prime Minister, Deacon Daniel Kibret, along with several other high-ranking officials.

Fana Media Corporation, established through the merger of the former Fana Broadcasting Corporation and Walta Media Communication Corporation, aims to make significant contributions to the media landscape.

During the event, FMC CEO Admasu Damtew emphasized that the newly structured media organization is committed to fostering a strong nation and cultivating a capable generation.

Deacon Daniel Kibret, Chairperson of the FMC Management Board, expressed that the corporation will focus on safeguarding national interests, advancing a grand narrative, and supporting nationwide development initiatives.
