Addis Ababa, October 1, 2021 (FBC) – Spokesperson of Ministry of Foreig Affairs Dina Mufti said that the government’s decision to expel the seven foreigners for meddling in nation’s internal affairs gives an important lesson to others in the same boat.
The seven officials of the UN agencies that have been urged to leave the territory of the country within 72 hours are found engaged in illegal activities that have nothing to do with their vested duties and responsibilities.
“Some international organizations which were licensed to deliver health related services are found wrecking havocs that jeopardize the health condition of the community,” Ambassador Dina noted.
The action is taken to maintain law and order, Ambassador Dina said, calling others in similar positions to draw lessons from the measures and abide by rules put in place by the government while operating in humanitarian activities.
