Ethiopians living in California, U.S. deliver a 10mln Birr assistance to IDPs

Addis Ababa, November 25, 2021 (FBC) – Ethiopians living in California State, U.S. have delivered humanitarian assistance worth more than 10 Million Birr to internally displaced people (IDPs) in several parts of Ethiopia people who fled homes due to TPLF aggression.

Deputy Commissioner of the Disaster Risk Management Commission, Nesibu Yasin, while receiving the support, stated that Ethiopia is now fighting against the proxy war that has been severely affecting a large number of civilians.

The Deputy Commissioner called on the Diaspora community to continue support to the government in addressing the humanitarian situation inflicted by the conflict.

Coordinator of the Humanitarian Support in California State, Minilik Andarge has reaffirmed commitment of Ethiopians in the Diaspora to continue solidarity with the government and contribute all the necessary support to address the situation.
