Addis Ababa, November 8, 2024 (FBC) – Ethiopian Airlines Airbus A350-1000 aircraft, the first of the type to be operated by an African carrier, has made its flight to Dubai from its hub the Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, the airline confirmed via a social media post this morning.
Recall that the airline’s the 395-seat Airbus A350-1000 aircraft has made its inaugural flight from Bole International Airport to Lagos, Nigeria, yesterday.
Ethiopian Airlines further confirmed today that its latest acquisition will fly to Accra, the capital of Ghana, for the first time from Bole International Airport.
It is known that Ethiopian Airlines, the biggest carrier in Africa, took delivery of the Airbus A350-1000 passenger plane from Airbus company in a ceremony held on 4th November 2024 in Toulouse Blagnac, France.
Named “Ethiopia: Land of Origins”, this brand new aircraft touched down at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport on Tuesday, 5th November 2024.
