Addis Ababa, May 12, 2020 (FBC) – Ethiopian Airlines yesterday transported 10,000 Kg of medical supplies to Mogadishu, Somalia and Khartoum, Sudan in response to COVID 19.
The airlines stated that the delivery was operated with its Q400 aircraft which is recently converted from passenger flat in to a cargo plane.
Out of the total medical supplies, 7,000 Kg is delivered to Khartoum while the remaining 3,000 Kg is conveyed to Mogadishu, the airlines indicated.
It is to be recalled that the airlines has so far delivered medical supplies and COVID 19 protective equipment donated by Chinese billionaire Jack Ma to 46 African countries so far.
