Addis Ababa, August 21, 2024 (FBC) – An International Tourism, Culture, and Trade Show aims to promote Ethiopian agricultural products will be held in Abu Dhabi from November 1 to 3, 2024, organizers announced yesterday.
Gold Land Trading will organize the Tourism, Culture, and Trade Show, in partnership with the Ethiopian Embassy in Dubai and various governmental and private stakeholders.
During a press conference yesterday, Henok Megerssa, Manager of Gold Land Trading, highlighted the event’s objective to showcase Ethiopia’s agricultural products, cultural heritage, and tourism potential to a global audience.
The trade fair will prominently feature Ethiopian agricultural goods, including fruits, vegetables, honey, pulses, and oilseeds, aiming to connect them with international markets. Henok emphasized that the exhibition will foster partnerships between Ethiopian businesses and their global counterparts while promoting the rich cultural and traditional values of different Ethiopian regions.
In addition to investment and trade opportunities, the trade show is expected to enhance the tourism sector by highlighting the country’s cultural and natural attractions.
Henok also mentioned that registration for participating companies is already underway, with expectations that over 200 local and international exhibitors will present their products at the event. The manager anticipates that approximately 30,000 visitors will attend the three-day trade show in Abu Dhabi this November.
