Addis Ababa, May 4, 2024 (FBC) – The Ethiopian Tourism and Cultural Centre in New Delhi is set to reopen in the first week of August 2024, following a prolonged closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the Ethiopian Embassy in New Delhi, preparations to resume operations at the cultural hub are nearing completion.
Established within the premises of the Ethiopian Embassy, the Tourism and Cultural Centre was created to serve as a platform for promoting Ethiopia’s rich cultural heritage and burgeoning tourism industry. Its offerings include a museum showcasing an impressive collection of Ethiopian artifacts, as well as an exclusive café that provides live demonstrations of the country’s renowned coffee ceremony.
The impending reopening will allow visitors to experience Ethiopia’s vibrant traditions. The Embassy’s efforts underscore the country’s commitment to sharing its cultural identity globally.
The revival of this hub is expected to boost Ethiopia’s tourism sector.
