Addis Ababa, October 9, 2023 (FBC) – Ethiopia has tapped into the AFSIC – Investing in Africa 2023 investment conference in London, the UK, under the theme “Ethiopia: the New Frontier Market – Opening Doors and Creating Opportunities”.
Ethiopian delegation is attending the AFSIC – Investing in Africa 2023 in London. The delegation led by Semereta Sewasew, State Minister of Finance for Economic Cooperation, Lelise Neme, Commissioner of the Ethiopian Investment Commission, as well as representatives from the Capital Markets Authority, Ethiopian Securities Exchange, and Ethiopian Investment Holdings were in attendance.
Being held under the theme “AFSIC 10 YEARS Investing in Africa”, organized by AFSIC. The program runs from 9 October 2023 to 11 October. The themes relate to investment, capital market development, financing, etc.
Moreover, the event aims to inspire UK investors to participate in the transformation in the four main topics relating Ethiopia: Advancing Agriculture, Technology and Innovation, Environmental Awareness and Sustainability.
African countries, including private companies, non-governmental organizations and international experts are participating in the 3-day Event.
