Addis Ababa, April 3, 2024 (FBC) – Ethiopian Airlines today inaugurated its Jinka Airport, in Jinka town, South Ethiopia region, unveiling a new terminal and support facility buildings today.
The new modern facility, having a total built-up area of 3,500m2, enhances passenger experience and boosts tourist flow to the region, the Airline said.
It is indicated that these facilities significantly contribute to the growth and comfort of tourist traffic.
Present at the inauguration ceremony were Mr. Mesfin Tasew, CEO of Ethiopian Airlines Group, Mr. Getachew Mengste, CEO of Ethiopian Civil Aviation Authority, and dignitaries from the South Ethiopia Region.
It is widely acknowledged that the construction of the air traffic control tower in the city has been finalized and is now operational.
