Addis Ababa, June 25, 2021 (FBC) – Ethiopian Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Ethiopia to the United Nations, Taye Atskeselassie held talks with with Director of United Nations Office (OCHA) for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, Reena Ghelani and the Deputy Director of the Organization Ghada Eltahir on various issues.
During the meeting, Ambassador Taye Atskeselassie emphasized the need for evidence-based approach in OCHA’s reporting on the humanitarian situation in Tigray.
He further stressed need to enhance collaboration between OCHA and the government of Ethiopia to ensure aid reaches those who are in need in Tigray region.
