Addis Ababa, November 29, 2023 (FBC) – Ethiopian delegation, headed by Minister of Health, Dr. Lia Taddese, is attending the 3rd annual International Conference on Public Health in Africa (CPHIA2023), in Lusaka, Zambia.
The conference is being held from 27 to 30 November 2023 in Lusaka under the theme ‘Breaking Barriers: Repositioning Africa in the Global Health Architecture’, organized by Africa CDC (Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention) and co-hosted by Ministry of Health of Zambia.
Dr. Lia, in a post published on her social media pages, stated, “Great to see many African leaders, policy makers, experts, researchers, the youth and more coming together, as well as our global partners, to deliberate on building resilience in the continent more than ever.”
The annual International Conference on Public Health in Africa (CPHIA) provides a unique African-led platform for leaders across the continent to reflect on lessons learned in health and science, and align on a way forward for creating more resilient health systems.
