This achievement underscores the airline’s leadership in global aviation, driven by its growing network, innovative technology, and commitment to passenger comfort and safety.

In its statement published on its social media page regarding the accolade, the Airline stated that the latest award marks its fifth consecutive win.

Ethiopian Airlines also extended its heartfelt thanks to its customers and the individuals who cast their votes and demonstrated their support.

The award highlights not only operational excellence but also the vital role each employee plays in Ethiopian Airlines’ success. From flight crews to customer service teams, every individual’s effort contributes to maintaining the airline’s world-class standards and sustainability initiatives. It was indicated that this recognition is a direct result of their collective commitment and passion for excellence.

Meanwhile, Royal Air Maroc, Kenya Airways, and South African Airways have been ranked from 2nd to 4th, respectively.

Recall that Ethiopian Airlines has taken delivery of its first of four A350-1000 aircraft from Airbus on November 4, 2024. Africa’s first-ever Airbus A350-1000 has already made its flights to various destinations across the world in the past days from Addis Ababa Bole International Airport.

The Airline is also lining up to add 124 new aircrafts to its fleet, Ethiopia’s Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed confirmed in his recent speech at the parliament. The Premier further confirmed that the Airline is also constructing Africa’s largest airport in the outskirts of Addis Ababa, set to handle 100-130 million passengers annually.
