This partnership marks a significant step forward for both entities, with Mesfin emphasizing Ethiopian Airlines’ long-standing dedication to promoting Ethiopian tourism alongside its core air transport services.
The airline’s commitment extends beyond air travel, as evidenced by the establishment and success of the 5-star Ethiopian Skylight Hotel, he said.

Ethiopian Airlines’ diversification extends far beyond air travel.
The company boasts a robust portfolio that includes passenger and cargo transport, hospitality services through Skylight Hotel, its own aviation university, and comprehensive aircraft maintenance services.
This multi-faceted approach positions Ethiopian Airlines as a key player in propelling Ethiopia’s tourism industry forward.
Entrusting their operation and management to the country’s national flag carrier, Ethiopian Airlines, promises not only enhanced service but also an avenue for international tourism promotion.
The ‘Dine for Ethiopia’ initiative, championed by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, aimed to bolster tourism, a cornerstone of the national homegrown economic reform program.
