Addis Ababa, July 26, 2024 (FBC) – Ethiopian Airlines, Africa’s leading carrier, today unveiled a new domestic route connecting Gambella and Asosa, the capital cities of Gambella and Benishangul Gumuz regions, respectively.
According to an official statement from the airline, these domestic direct flights began on Wednesday, the 24th of July, 2024.
This development comes on the heels of the airline’s resumption of direct flights between Dessie and Bahir Dar in the Amhara region as well as between Mekele and Shire of the Tigray region cities this month.
The expansion of Ethiopian Airlines’ domestic route network underscores the company’s commitment to connecting underserved regions and enhancing air travel accessibility for passengers throughout Ethiopia.
