Addis Ababa, October 15, 2024 (FBC) – Ethiopian Airlines has officially inaugurated a daily flight service to Port Sudan, marking the port city as its 66th African destination. This expansion reflects the airline’s commitment to enhancing Ethiopia’s connectivity within the continent.
Ethiopian Airlines CEO Mesfin Tasew expressed that the airline is dedicated to linking countries across Africa and beyond. He emphasized that the introduction of new aircraft with advanced technologies is aimed at elevating customer service standards.
The CEO also highlighted that the airline’s expanded services will bolster tourism, trade, and diplomatic ties between Ethiopia and Sudan.
Additionally, Ethiopian Airlines is set to launch flights between Addis Ababa and Monrovia, the capital of Liberia, in the coming weeks.
