Addis Ababa, January 14, 2025 (FMC) – Ethiopian Ambassador Biruk Mekonnen had a meeting with the Lindsay Hoyle, Speaker of the House of Commons of the UK.
During their discussion, the Ambassador provided an update on the ongoing social and economic reforms in Ethiopia. They also reflected on the historic and fraternal relationship that has existed between the two nations for centuries.
Both parties expressed their commitment to strengthening this bond further by fostering closer people to people ties and enhancing collaboration between the countries’ parliaments.
