Addis Ababa, February 13, 2015 (FBC) Ethiopia and the United Arab Emirates have agreed to work together in defense industry development and investment areas.
A delegation led by the Defense Minister Abraham Belay and the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army, General Abebaw Tadesse, are in Abu Dhabi to participate in the International Defense Forum.
The Ethiopian side has conferred with the Deputy Defense Minister and Chief of the Staff of the Army of UAE on ways of strengthening the defense cooperation between the two countries.
Given the long lasting significance the defense industry and investment partnership will bring, the two sides have stressed need to widen the scope of cooperation beyond exchanging experiences in the sector.
