Addis Ababa, February 19, 2021 (FBC) -Zemede Tefera, State Minister of Revenues today received a delegation from South Sudan.
The two sides shared experience on revenue collection and international customs service.
Zemede on the occasion said the two countries shares not only border but also people and culture. The need for cooperation between the two countries is highly demanded.
Members of the delegation said South Sudan wants to emulate Ethiopia’s experience in tax collection and international customs procedure.
Ambassador of South Sudan to Ethiopia, David Dang, appreciated Ethiopia’s support to the people of South Sudan during the time of hardship.
The two countries are expected to sign agreement to cooperate on domestic tax and customs service.
