Addis Ababa, February 20, 2020 (FBC) –Ethiopia’s Defense Force Chief of Staff, General Adam Mohammed, held talks with General Fayyad Al-Ruwaili, Saudi Arabia Chief of Staff.
During the meeting held in Riyadh, they discussed aspects of cooperation between the two countries, especially in the defense field.
They also exchanged views on the importance of strengthening security and military cooperation.
The meeting was attended by a number of officials from both sides, according to Saudi Press Agency.
In a related development, General Adam also met with Eng. Ahmed Al Baiz, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) Assistant Supervisor General of Operations and Programs.
During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues pertaining to the humanitarian field.
Eng. Al Baiz briefed the Ethiopian official on the KSrelief efforts for the afflicted people in the world, including Ethiopia.
For his part, General Adam thanked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the KSrelief, for all the relief and humanitarian efforts to his country.
He also lauded the KSrelief efforts in various humanitarian and relief sectors and its important role in supporting the needy in the world.
