Addis Ababa, November 3, 2023 (FBC) – The National Assembly of the Republic of Korea and the House of Peoples Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia vowed to strengthen their diplomatic relationship.
Chairperson of the Foreign Relations and Peace Standing Committee of the Ethiopian House of Peoples Representatives, Dima Negewo (PhD) received members of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea on Thursday.
Members of the National Assembly of Republic of Korea said during the discussion that Ethiopia and the Republic of Korea have been enjoying 60 years of bilateral relations, pledging to take this longstanding ties to the next level.
Dima Negewo (PhD), for his part, said the bilateral relations between Ethiopia and the Republic of Korea has been flourishing in multifaceted areas of cooperation. He disclosed that the parliament has set up Ethiopia-Korea Parliamentary Cooperation Caucus which is working to boost the diplomatic relationship between the two parliaments.
The two legislative bodies further agreed to reinforce their cooperation and continue exchanging good practices for the benefit of the people of the two countries.
