Ethiopia participates in ACANU’s traditional food, beverage tasting event

Addis Ababa, December 18, 2022 (FBC) – The Permanent Mission of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva participated at a traditional food and beverage tasting party organised by the Association of Accredited Correspondents at the United Nations (ACANU) at Geneva on Friday.

The event was attended by the presence of Ms Tatiana Valovaya, Director-General, UN Geneva, Mr. Tamer Omar Aboelnin, President of the Association of accredited journalists at the United Nations Office at Geneva (ACANU), ambassadors, designators, journalists, and other invited guests, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia.

During the course of the party, Ethiopia has provided traditional foods and has also showcased Ethiopian cultural coffee preparations ceremony and has done successful image building activities.

Countries include Azerbaijan, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Pakistan, Qatar, Switzerland, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Ukraine, Vietnam, and others have participated at the traditional food and beverage tasting party.

Association of Accredited Correspondents at the United Nations, ACANU, was founded in 1949 and has been reporting the work of United Nations to the rest of the world for more than 70 years from its home at Geneva
